André Plourde is a graduate of the University of Quebec in Montreal where he obtained his Business Administration degree (B.A.A.). In 1989, he joined Montreal Real Estate Group Inc., a family owned real estate brokerage firm, where he developed extensive leasing and investment expertise. From 1996 to 2001 André was Vice-president of an important brokerage firm in Montreal.

André re-started Montreal Real Estate Group in 2001. Over his twenty year career, he has developed a strong reputation in marketing, leasing and disposition of commercial real estate. During the past five years, the Montreal Real Estate Group has concluded more than 1.2 million square feet of leasing transactions and has been involved in the disposition of office buildings and land for development.

Integrity, hard work and respect of the colleagues of the industry are few of the reasons why Montreal Real Estate Group has had such success since its creation.

André was appointed to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) Board of Directors in April 2008 and Trustee of the Pension Fund in October 2008. He is also Vice-chairman of the Board of the Children’s Diabetic Foundation.

Pierre holds a Bachelor of commerce from HEC Montreal and an MBA from the Schulich school of business (York University) in Toronto.

He has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, having been involved in the management, leasing, financing and investment sides of the industry. He has furthermore held senior executive positions with major real estate developers in the Province of Quebec.

Pierre was, from 1987 to 1991, vice-president, Quebec, of BCED, the real estate development arm of BCE. He initiated the joint venture between BCE, Teleglobe and Lavalin, (SNC-Lavalin) to undertake the development of the prestigious office building, the 1000 de la Gauchetière, in Montreal.

Martin concurrently acquired an executive M.B.A. in Real Estate from the University of Quebec at Montreal while obtaining over 17 years experience in Commercial Real Estate. Martin has notable achievements in office, industrial and business park environments.

Among his accomplishments was his position as Leasing Manager of Place Ville-Marie (a 2,600,000 square foot office and retail complex) on behalf of SITQ (a division of the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement, Quebec’s provincial retirement fund), where he was instrumental in the completion of numerous transactions with "World Class" organizations. Martin has varied experiences representing landlords and space users from both the brokerage and development perspectives.

Erik holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), major in Real Estate appraisal. From 1988 to 2005, Erik occupied several management positions at Bell in the complex world of high technologies.

During those years, he developed an expertise in project management, corporate finance and human resources management. Other responsibilities led him to fulfill several internal projects with success as well as develop large scale networks to the satisfaction of the corporate clientele of the company.

Erik joined Montreal Real Estate Group in 2005. He has since concluded more than 100 transactions totaling over 300 000 square feet. He handled his career transition in a most effective manner and now has a stellar reputation in the Montreal brokerage community for his hard work and rigorous methodology.

Erik was appointed Executive Vice-president in 2007.

Having relocated from British Columbia to undertake his education in French, Michael completed a bachelor degree in urban planning from the University of Quebec at Montreal. Furthering his education, he obtained a graduate certificate in international development from York University, which included an assignment on the organizing committee for the ‘Summit of the Americas for Natural Disaster Mitigation”, located in Costa Rica.

Returning to Canada, he held various human resource and facilities management positions within Parks Canada.

Michael has now worked for several years in commercial real estate with a focus on office leasing where he has completed numerous transactions with international, national and regional clients.

Michael, as of recent, has focused a large part of his attention on loft conversion leasing and completed over 60 transactions during 2008, mostly in the Plateau Mont-Royal and Mile-End Sectors.

Consuela holds a Business Administration Certificate from the University of Sherbrooke. As Director of administrative services, her main responsibilities include the management and supervision of all administrative activities within the office such as the implementation of procedures to improve the productivity and efficiency of the team members. She supports the agents and assists them with their transactions.

Consuela plays a major role in implementing marketing strategies for the mandates entrusted to the company, from the conception and distribution of all advertisement material, media placement to keeping the corporate web site up to date.

Prior to joining Montreal Real Estate Group in 2002, Consuela was responsible for customer service at the main reception desk of IBM Canada.

René Piché

René is a graduate in science education and has been working actively in the real estate field for the past 20 years.

Following many years of specialization in real estate transactions involving the housing industry, a major event occurred when René sold the gigantic Monastery of the Redemptorists Fathers of Aylmer in Outaouais; property that was transformed into a prestigious senior residence.

Since that day, his interests turned to senior housing real estate, making it his specialty.

Sylvain holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Quebec in Montreal, major in marketing.

Over the past 16 years, he has specialized in retail leasing transactions. Sylvain began his career in real estate as a commercial leasing consultant for Ivanhoe Cambridge where he was involved in the development of commercial spaces for a variety of retailers, restaurant owners and major financial institutions in the Montreal region.

Sylvain is known in the Quebec commercial real estate industry as a retail leasing specialist. More over, he has developed a network with several financial institutions such as Desjardins and HSBC across Quebec and Ontario. Many restaurateurs benefit from exceptional visibility, thanks to his efforts. He has been involved in the development of major retail concepts such as Presse Café, Café Vienne, Couche-Tard. Sylvain created and implemented the leasing and marketing programs for many retail locations including the retail section of the Palais des Congrès of Montreal.
